The SCSA meets once each year for an annual meeting of the membership. This meeting is held in conjunction with the North Carolina Society of Anesthesiologists.  The Executive Committee of the SCSA meets four (4) times each year.

Membership in the SCSA is not a right, it is a privilege. Membership is attained by application, review, dues payment and approval. A member may be either Active, Affiliate, Resident, Retired, Disabled or Provisional
